The opening reception of Marcela Cardenas first photo exhibition in Oslo about Svalbard at Casa Latina Oslo Språk og Kultur. Thursday 27th March from 17:00 to 21:00. Inauguration at 18:00 by Ambassador to Guatemala Marta Eulalia Estrada followed by a presentation by the photographer.
It will be exhibited more than 100 photos and all will be for sale. All kind of sizes and prices. The exhibition will remain open and the photographer will be there during the whole weekend: Friday 28th, th, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30th March from 12:00 to 21:00.
Marcela Cardenas was born in Monterrey, Mexico. Her attraction to ice, glaciers and winter landscapes guided her to Norway, where she fell in love at first sight with its spectacular nature, and where she lives for the past 8 years. In 2010, her adventurous spirit, fascination for polar bears and her dream to see them in their natural habitat, led her to the end of the world… Svalbard. Where there live more polar bears than people, and where Marcela lived for more than two years.
